One of my biggest fears as a dog mom is losing my dog. You hear about it all the time on social media and see postings on the streets. Why I Chose The Whistle Go Explore
- It gives me peace of mind – Look, let’s face it. Shit happens and you never know when your dog may get loose. For those of you who have Siberian Huskies, you know they love to run and are known as escape artists! With the GPS tracker, I know I’ll at least have a fighting chance to find Gatsby if he ever ran away. The real-time location tracking was extremely helpful when I had a dog walker. I got notifications on my phone while I was at work. It alerted me when Gatsby left the apartment with the dog walker. I was able to see their walking route, and when he came back to the apartment.
- It’s made for the adventure dog – Gatsby goes on all sorts of adventures. The features of the device are made for just that! The battery can last up to 20 days and can be submerged in up to 6 feet of water. It’s lightweight yet very durable. If your pet wears this all day, this device can even track their licking, scratching, and sleeping patterns. A 30-day report can be emailed to your veterinarian! How cool is that? The tracker shows me the number of calories burned and I love seeing Gatbsy meeting his activity goal for the day. That means I did my job in providing him with enough physical exercise. I’m always trying to beat our previous goals for the day.
- Push notification on reminders – I can set up reminders for vet visits or flea & tick medication reminders on my phone.
Aside from all the great features, I really wanted a GPS & Health tracker for Gatsby because cool tech gadgets are a must in our household. While the humans have their Apple watches, Fitbits, newest smartphones, PCs, and Macs, don’t you think our pups deserve a tech gadget to call their own?
