Petit Vour – Cruelty-Free, Vegan and Non -Toxic Beauty Box

When I’m not busy entertaining Gatsby and my four rescue cats, you’ll find me exploring and trying on clean and cruelty-free beauty products. I’ve always been very careful about what I put on my face. When looking for new products to try, I look for products that are non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Now that we’re all sheltering at home, I thought this would be the perfect time for me to try out some clean and cruelty-free beauty monthly subscription boxes. I decided to subscribe to Petit Vour’s beauty box. Each month you’ll receive four sample-sized products (always valued over $50) of non-toxic and plant-based beauty products curated just for you based on your beauty profile.

The sample sizes are perfect for me. Do you know how many times I bought full-sized products and didn’t like it after I tried it? With Petit Vour, when you submit a review of your monthly beauty box, you’ll get $4 back each month (in-store credit). You can then use those credits to purchase any full-sized item that you absolutely love. I subscribed to their monthly plan which is $18/box.

Cruelty-free beauty

I’ve already received my third beauty box and love some of the products they have curated for me so far. Here’s a list of my favorites.

  • Osea Essential Hydrating Oil – It’s hydrating and doesn’t clog my pores. I like using this under my eyes as part of my nightly routine while mixing it with my Osea Atmospheric Protection Cream. I think this will be perfect for those dry winter days especially while I’m out hiking in the mountains with my pup.
  • Rahua Voluminous Shampoo & Conditioner – I LOVE the smell from this set. I think the shampoo definitely removes product build-up pretty well. I’ve noticed that my hair has been less oily and it doesn’t dry up my scalp or hair like other shampoos I’ve tried.
  • Impeccable Skin Tinted Moisturizing Face Sunscreen – This is the perfect product to put on if you don’t feel like wearing makeup but need to put on some sunscreen. It’s tinted so it’s going to provide you with light coverage. It goes on smooth and it’s not greasy at all. This is what I’ll be wearing when strolling in the city with Gatsby this summer.
  • EIR NYC Active Face Wash – A small pump is all you need. It lathers up very nicely and I feel the cleanser is more geared for warmer and humid weather. I love the scent and I think it does a great job at controlling the oil in my t-zone.

If you’re thinking about incorporating more clean and cruelty-free beauty products into your routine, I think Petit Vour’s subscription box is a good place to start. You get to try out a variety of products without breaking the bank. What’s the point of buying full-sized products if you won’t know for sure if you’ll even like it?

As for me, I plan on continuing my subscription because I can’t wait to see what other new products and brands are making their way into the clean and cruelty-free beauty market.
