Trump International Hotel & Tower
Tired of the NYC skyline and want some greenery? Indulge in luxury at Trump International Hotel & Tower for the ultimate NYC staycation. Located at the iconic Central Park and Columbus Circle intersection, this landmark offers rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning views of Central Park! Pamper yourself with a relaxing full-body massage, and head to the sauna or steam room to help you relax and ease any tension.

TWA Hotel
Now, this is a fun staycation in NYC idea! Step into the glamorous world of mid-century travel at the TWA Hotel for a unique staycation. Located at JFK Airport, this iconic hotel offers a retro vibe.
Relax in stylish rooms, enjoy the rooftop infinity pool, watch the jets take off, and dine on classic airline-inspired menus. With its vintage décor and aviation nostalgia, the TWA Hotel promises a memorable escape without leaving the city with your pup.

This hotel offers you and your pup a unique experience and plenty of photo ops! Trust me, you’ll spend most of your time doing this.
TWA Hotel charges a fee of $75 per pet for each stay. At check-in, you must sign a liability form for your pet. There’s also a designated pet relief area in the grassy spots outside the hotel for your furry companions.
Nine Orchard
Located in the Lower East Side, Nine Orchard is an interesting stay. The hotel was once the former iconic Jarmulowsky Bank building and has now been transformed into a high-end luxury hotel. With residential-style rooms and suites, you’ll feel like you’re home away from home.
And, if you’re a foodie, you must try Nine Orchard’s bar and restaurants, led by Michelin star chef Ignacio Mattos of Manhattan’s Estela, Altro Paradiso, and Lodi. The hotel’s Corner Bar offers bistro dishes, domestic wines, and outdoor seating so your pup can join you!
Nine Orchard doesn’t charge a pet fee and has no pet weight limit.
Dog-Friendly Things To Do
- Chinatown is just steps away, so it’s great to explore the Chinese culture and their foods
- Walk to Brooklyn and walk back! The Brooklyn Bridge is less than 1 mile away, so it’s a nice walk with your pup.
- Head to Soho for some shopping or to grab a coffee. You might even run into Taylor Swift!
The Standard Highline
Located above the famous Highline Park, The Standard Highline is the perfect place to stay if you want floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River. Imagine those pretty NYC sunsets!
And if you decide not to bring your pup, there is much to do since it’s located right in the trendy Meatpacking District, where you’ll find plenty of bars, restaurants, nightlife in general, and the Whitney Museum.
But more interestingly, did you know the hotel teamed up with Anjelica Huston and the ASPA on an animal welfare campaign? Right after that, the hotel announced that all dogs stay for free!

- Walk and explore The Shops at Hudson Yards
- Walk along Hudson River Park and stop by Pier 57 Rooftop Park for food, drinks, and NYC skyline views.
- Have dinner at The Standard Grill (yes, they have outdoor seating, and it’s dog-friendly)
- Head to Chelsea Market for more food – your pup is not allowed in any restaurants, but they can walk through the building itself.
The New York EDITION
Indulge in laid-back luxury at The New York EDITION, a breathtaking property owned by Ian Schrager and nestled within a stunning 1909 clock tower building. With its jaw-dropping lobby and lounge area exuding elegance, you might find it hard to tear yourself away from the hotel’s captivating ambiance.
Spend the day at their spa or head out and explore the Flatiron District. Grab a few snacks at Eataly and relax at Madison Square Park. Then, spend the night with a few drinks at the hotel’s Lobby Bar.
Pets are welcomed with an additional $250 fee.

- Take your dog to the Madison Square Dog Park, also known as Jeremy’s Dog Run.
- Grab a poochini at Shake Shack, which is located in Madison Square Park.
Kimpton Hotel Theta
Situated right in the heart of the Theater District and Hells Kitchen is Kimpton Hotel Theta. Newly opened in September 2023, the hotel features an airy mid-century modern aesthetics. It’s also the perfect hotel to stay at when you want to enjoy a Broadway Show and then a dinner.
And if you’re looking for a Michelin Star restaurant to try, check out Kochi for an unforgettable dining experience! This Korean spot serves a $145 tasting menu featuring an array of skewers. It’s a foodie’s dream, from butter-poached halibut to dry-aged pork with pistachio ssamjang sauce. Opt to sit at the long bar so you and your partner can enjoy watching the talented chefs expertly prepare all nine courses right in front of you, adding an extra layer of excitement to your dining experience.
At Kimpton Hotel Theta, there are no pet fees and no weight/size limit or limit to the number of pets allowed.

- Enjoy wine/social hour with your pup (hosted for hotel guests 5pm-6pm daily).
- Head to Times Square and take some iconic New York City photos.
