1. Ritz Carlton Central Park

Ritz Carlton, the most trusted brand in luxury travel, is dog-friendly. They allow two pets up to 60 pounds per room and charge a $250 room fee. Located just steps away from Central Park with spectacular views, the price tag is so worth it. They will pamper you and your pup to no end.

2. The Plaza Hotel

Staying at the iconic Plaza Hotel in NYC is an experience beyond the ordinary, offering breathtaking views of the city and Central Park. This is the same hotel where “Home Alone: Lost in New York” was filmed!

The Plaza Hotel accepts dogs of all sizes at no additional cost, with a maximum of two pets per room. They offer a “Pampered Pup Package” for an extra $195(USD) to any reservation, which includes the Plaza dog bathrobe, doggie-treat tier filled with dog-friendly macaroons, Evian water, food and water bowls, and a plush bed.

3. Loews Regency New York Hotel

Since Loews Regency New York Hotel is only a few steps from the world-famous Central Park, it makes an excellent stay for you and your pup! The hotel charges a one-time fee of $50 per stay with a limit of two pets per room.

Loews Hotels has a pet program providing amenities, including a gourmet pet room-service menu, a welcome letter from their Managing Director, a list of local dog services, dog toys, and bedding. 

And to circle back about the pet room service menu, your pup will love it! The gourmet pet room service menus are prepared in-house by their culinary team. Menu items include chow hound tenderloin of beef with brown rice, peas, and carrots and locally sourced fish with ground flaxseed, rolled oats, and carrots! 

Pet walking and pet-sitting services can be arranged if you must be away from your pup for a little while.

4. Kimpton Hotel Eventi

Kimpton Hotels is my top choice when traveling with my pup. They never charge a pet fee, and dogs of any size are allowed. The hotel concierge will provide a list of pet-friendly restaurants, parks, and groomers in the area, courtesy bags for dog walking, and door hanger alerts to notify hotel staff and guests when your pet is in the room.

My favorite is that they have “Wine Hour” at their lobby/lounge every day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

5. The Wall Street Hotel

Let your pup live their “Wolf of Wall Street” moment! Ideally located near the Seaport District and FiDi (Financial District) attractions, the Wall Street Hotel is an excellent choice if you want to be in the heart of Lower Manhattan.  

In-room amenities include a doggy bed, toys, and a water bowl for your pet to use during their stay. After your stay, a $150 cleaning fee will be applied for deep cleaning.

Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown takes luxury pet vacations to another level by offering a curated “Ruff Service.”

Executive Chef Maria Tampakis wants your dog to eat as well as you do! She created the “Ruff Menu” which offers a choice of protein, vegetables, and rice. As for dessert, your pup can choose from house-made peanut butter cookies or gourmet macaroons by Bonne et Filou.

Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown doesn’t charge a pet fee and allows up to two pets per room. They also provide your pup a food and water bowl by Wild One, a modern plush dog day bed, and a classic yellow cab toy symbolic of iconic New York taxis. 

7. Soho Grand Hotel

At the Soho Grand Hotel, two pets of any size are welcome for no additional fee. Dogs may be left unattended in guest rooms if crated, and the hotel provides crates if needed. Your pup will feel right at home with organic treats, bedding, food and water bowls, and doggy bags.

The hotel also offers a dedicated dog park! The Soho Grand Dog Park is open to hotel guests only and features fire hydrant water stations, bespoke benches, and a peaceful garden. 

8. NoMo SoHo Hotel

They allow dogs under 80 lbs, limit one dog per room, and charge a $100 pet fee.
